Pirate Adventure Morning

We are have a Pirate adventure morning on Tuesday 18th July. Please speak to a member of staff for more details.

Pediatric first Aid. 

This weekend all of our staff undertook Pediatric first aid training to refresh their knowledge and learn new techniques and procedures for approaching first aid situations. Well done everyone! 

Preschool Closure - adverse weather. 

Please be aware that preschool is closed today (18.2.22) Due to extreme storms and weather conditions.

We are sad to say farewell to Josie who has decided to move on from Preschool to gain further experience in her career. We wish you all the best Josie.

Lisa is now officially on Maternity leave and we wish her the very best for the arrival of her new bundle and want to thank her very much for all of her hard work and dedication.

18th Dec 2019 - Merry Christmas

Today is our last day before the Christmas holidays.  We would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our wonderful children and families a very Merry Christmas

11th Dec 2019 -  General Election

FYI: As you are all aware tomorrow is Election Day and Sunningwell Primary School is being used as a polling station.  Preschool will be open as normal all day and this should have no affect on us throughout the day.  We will be locking our internal door through to the school throughout the day and the external gates round to the outside areas will be padlocked as normal to ensure no access to members of the public during this time.  The entrance to the polling station will be clearly sign posted and there will be a member of school staff in reception to guide people

6th Dec 2019 - Next Weeks Events

Tuesday: Christmas Lunch.  Please let us know if you would like to order one

Wednesday: If you child is booked in for lunch they will receive the menu option that is on the school lunch company menu for Tue 10th Dec and not a roast lunch (Crunchy chicken and new potatoes)

Friday: Christmas Jumper Day, to raise money for Save the Children.  We would ask for a £1 donation if you child would like to wear something festive.   If your child does not have a Christmas Jumper, please do not go to the expense of buying one; a favourite jumper, something sparkly or wearing tinsel is fine

29th Nov 2019 - Christmas Fair

Tomorrow is our annual Christmas fair from 10am-3pm.  Come along and pikc up some Christmas gifts, have a go on the tombola and raffle or have a festive bap and cake.  We hope to see you there!

27th Nov 2019 - Children's Christmas Party

This year we are holding the Christmas party on Thursday 19th December from 10am to 12pm, at Sunningwell Village Hall.  We will be playing games, have music and crafts.  Children will have to be accompanied by an adult /caregiver throughout the party.   

14th Nov 2019 - Children in Need

As tomorrow is Children in Need the children are welcome to come to preschool dressed up as anything of their choice.  This is just for fun

12th Nov 2019 - School Applications

School applications are now open.  If your child is starting reception next September you can apply for their school place now.   Applications close January 15th 2020

6th Nov 2019 - URGENT - Dark Lane Closure

Please do not access / park on the lane for the next 8 day under any circumstances.

Sorry for any inconveinece this may cause, you can park through the village or at the village hall and either walk up the lane or through the cricket field

School Trip

Our school trip this year is  on 20th July 2018 and we will be visiting Sutton Courtney Education Environment Centre for a minibeast adventure! Please see letters in your childs tray for more information
