Is it safe?
Yes! Absolutely! Lisa is fully qualified to take Forest School sessions and Bet is currently completing her Forest School training. All sessions are fully risk assessed and these are available from Lisa on request - please ask!
Do you go out in all weathers?
We go out to play no matter what the weather is. We play in sun, rain, snow, hot or cold weather. We will advise on weather appropriate clothing for sessions before your child starts Forest School. It is really important that for your child to enjoy and get the most out of their session that they are dressed for the weather.
Where does Forest School take place?
Forest School activities take place in Sunningwell Primary School Spinney. This is within the school grounds and is accesed via the playing field. Children need to complete a short walk in the school playing fields to access the area.
Who is eligible to take part
Currently all children who attended on Wednesday's will automatically be included in our Forest School. Two key groups will go out in the morning and two in the afternoon.
What does my child need?
Please send your child with waterproof clothing, wellie boots and layers appropriate for the season. If this is not possible then please talk to Lisa who will work with you to find away to ensure your child can take part.
How do I find out more?
If you child takes part in Forest School you will be invited to join the Forest School Tapestry page. Please log in weekly to find out the latest news!
